Annemarie Muntz
Ms. Annemarie Muntz studied social & economic law in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She is currently Managing Director Global Public Affairs at Randstad N.V. In May 2014 she was elected to president of the WEC (World Employment Confederation), the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies, representing 50 national staffing and recruitment trade associations as well as seven of the largest international workforce solutions companies. Ms. Muntz chaired Euro WEC, the European Confederation of Private Employment Agencies from 2005 to 2017. She was Secretary General of ABU, the Dutch staffing industry association, from 1991 to 1996.
Her interests and specialties lie in the field of labour market policies, regulation, industrial relations & modern forms of work. She is an influential lobbyist in the international arena representing the interests of the employment and recruitment industry at large vis à vis international policymakers as ILO, OECD, World Bank and EU. She has been part of the Dutch government delegation to the annual ILO Labor Conference, being involved in topics as supply chains, immigration, social protection and Business & Human Rights. At Randstad she is responsible for thought leadership and advocacy programs, overseeing the yearly publication of the Flexibility@Work cycle. She co-chaired the 2018 B20 Employment & Education Taskforce and coordinates the International Bar Association’s Global Employment Institute’s Advisory Board.
